INTER-AGENCY COOPERATION IN FINANCIAL CRIMES MANAGEMENT
WORKSHOP TRAINING REPORT
The training workshop on Inter-Agency Cooperation in Financial Crimes Management was organized as a one day tutoring programme by the Financial Crimes Working Group (FCWG) on Saturday 20th July, 2019 at 18 Wellington Street, Freetown.
The main goal of the workshop was to strengthen the technical capacity of its members by equipping representatives from the various Agencies with knowledge and skills in understanding the intricacies on AML/CFT inter-agency cooperation with regards to financial crime management.
A unique aspect of the workshop is the post-training on-the-job technical follow-up as participants are expected to integrate the learning tools acquired into their day-to-day work and provide regular feedback on their activities which have contributed to the fight against money laundering and terrorist-financing at the national level.
